Kim Griffin celebrates her 10th year as Canisius softball's head coach in 2024, having led the team to impressive achievements, including a MAAC-leading 13th conference championship and a NCAA appearance in 2022. Her tenure has seen consistent success, with records in league play, individual player accolades, and a strong focus on offensive and defensive stats. Starting as an assistant in 2008, Griffin, a Mercyhurst graduate and Western New York native, has significantly influenced the program's development, contributing to its regional and conference presence in softball while also being active in community service.

Michael Tanke, appointed Golden Griffin men's soccer head coach in 2022, brings extensive experience from Empire United and collegiate soccer to Canisius. Recognized for his talent identification, recruitment, and player development skills, Tanke has a proven track record, including leading Empire United's U19 to national achievements. His background includes roles with the Philadelphia Union Youth Academy and significant contributions to collegiate programs, highlighting his strategic and operational strengths. A former University of Rhode Island player and cum laude graduate, Tanke's professional play was with the Rochester Rhinos and is known for his coaching potential and integrity.  Click here for full bio
